Story of the week: Editor’s note. The proposed Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a trade deal that has a high risk of removing our nation’s sovereignty on important social and economic matters. Congress is considering giving “Fast Track” authority to the President on this deal which has not even been made public. Many are citizens opposing this “Trade Promotion Authority” (TPA) – those who believe in sovereignty of citizens over government and against rules made by foreign governments. Call you congressman to tell them to oppose TPA.

Exclusive–Sessions to Obama: Why Are You Keeping Obamatrade’s New Global Governance Secret? – Breitbart “Under fast-track, Congress transfers its authority to the executive and agrees to give up several of its most basic powers.“These concessions include: the power to write legislation, the power to amend legislation, the power to fully consider legislation on the floor, the power to keep debate open until Senate cloture is invoked, and the constitutional requirement that treaties receive a two-thirds vote. “The latter is especially important since.. it is clear it more closely resembles a treaty than a trade deal. “The implications of this new Pacific Union are extraordinary and ought to be discussed in full, in public, before Congress even contemplates fast-tracking its creation and pre-surrendering its power to apply the constitutional two-thirds treaty vote,” Sessions wrote to Obama.”
Hillary’s officials cut criticisms out of State Dept. reports “Sources referred to [diplomatic security] sometimes circling the wagons to protect favored rising stars from criminal charges or from embarrassing revelations that could harm a promising career,” the draft continued. “One case relates to allegations that a Regional Security Officer engaged in serious criminal conduct including sexual abuse of local embassy staff.. Sources also reported that a senior [diplomatic security] official successfully protected some agents on the Secretary’s Detail from investigations into misbehavior while on official trips. “Sources reported that a senior ‘7th Floor’ Department official ordered [diplomatic security] to stop the investigation of an ambassador accused of pedophilia, and another such senior official had [diplomatic security] stop an investigation of an ambassador-designate,” the draft reads.”
Tampa Bay water restoration lauded as model for other dirty bay “Tampa Bay’s drastic recovery from abysmal water quality twenty years ago to today’s clean and often crystal clear waters is being heralded as not just a win, but a model for other communities struggling to clean up major water bodies. A report in Reuters Tuesday lauds the broad support between environmental groups and big businesses to embark on decades or restoration. When Tampa Bay’s water quality was at its lowest; when murky water and frequent fish kills were a regular happening, scientists set out to fix the problem by restoring sea grass beds that had dwindled to unhealthy levels. As Reuters reports, experts were doubtful they’d see the fruit of their labor within their lifetimes. But now sea grass levels are at their highest levels in more than 60-years.”
Paul Volcker warns on health of US state finances Excellent Article! “The continued fiscal stress is tempting states to continue, and even intensify, budgeting and accounting practices that obscure their true financial position, shift current costs on to future generations, and push off the need to make hard choices on spending priorities and revenue practices,” Mr Volcker said. Mounting fiscal stress in Illinois, Detroit’s bankruptcy and the financial troubles coming to a head in Puerto Rico demonstrate the importance of developing better financial policies, the report said. “There are problems hidden by a lack of truth and integrity” in state budgeting, Mr Volcker said. Triple-A-rated Virginia, though not perfect, has the best methods, New Jersey is a serious offender and California falls somewhere in the middle, having improved significantly in recent years.”
Ten months later, still no strategy on ISIS “Obama’s neglect of Syria and Iraq seems to confirm Leon Panetta’s assessment of him as wanting to keep Iraq out of sight and out of mind from the beginning of his presidency. Panetta served under Obama as CIA director and then secretary of defense. In his memoir, Worthy Fights, Panetta criticized Obama for not doing enough to convince the Iraqi government to accept a residual U.S. force in Iraq when American troops left in 2011.”Those on our side viewed the White House as so eager to rid itself of Iraq that it was willing to withdraw rather than lock in arrangements that would preserve our influence and interests,” Panetta wrote. Obama’s lack of commitment in Syria and Iraq, Panetta told USA Today, created a vacuum that led to the Islamic State’s rise.”
NRA: Gun blogs, videos, web forums threatened by new Obama regulation Must Read!! “In updating regulations governing international arms sales, State is demanding that anyone who puts technical details about arms and ammo on the web first get the OK from the federal government — or face a fine of up to $1 million and 20 years in jail…”Gunsmiths, manufacturers, reloaders, and do-it-yourselfers could all find themselves muzzled under the rule and unable to distribute or obtain the information they rely on to conduct these activities,” said the NRA in a blog posting. “This latest regulatory assault, published in the June 3 issue of the Federal Register, is as much an affront to the First Amendment as it is to the Second,” warned the NRA’s lobbying shop.”
Katie Pavlich – Good News: TSA Fails to Screen Airport Workers With Ties to Terrorism Looks like TSA has more to answer for from a new IG report. “Now, another IG report shows that not only has TSA failed to detect fake bombs, weapons and other explosives nearly 100 percent of the time, but also people with terrorism ties working at airports across the country. More from Fox News: The results of a new audit show that — while the agency keeps a robust system for screening commercial airport workers — it still failed to flag 73 airport workers “linked to terrorism.” According to TSA data, the people in question were working for major airlines, airport venders and other employers. The culprit? Government bureaucracy of course.” Don’t worry though, “President Obama still has confidence in TSA”.
Will Congress take on Obama’s racial preference housing policies? – NetRight Daily MUST READ!! In 2012, HUD dispersed about $3.8 billion of these grants to almost 1,200 municipalities. Conditioning those grants on rezoning will generate obvious political outcomes, namely, to turn what were once Republican districts — which tend to be higher income and white not because of racism but rather economics and regional demographics — into marginal, purple districts under the guise of providing “fair housing.”In preparation for implementing the rule, HUD has released template racial rezoning maps and data tables to be used in each community development block grant recipient area. The tool’s worksheet orders the assessing bureaucrat using the maps and data to “identify neighborhoods or areas in the jurisdiction and region where racial/ethnic groups are segregated and indicate the predominant groups for each.”
Liberals Make Big Comeback in 2015, Poll Analysis Finds Not good news!! “A new analysis of Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll data finds a marked increase in the share of registered voters identifying themselves as liberals, and an even bigger drop in the share saying they are conservatives. In three national polls conducted so far in 2015, the analysis found that 26% of registered voters identified themselves as liberals — up from 23% in 2014. At the same time, the share of voters identifying as conservatives dropped to 33% from 37% in 2014.The analysis by GOP pollster Bill McInturff, who looked at survey data from 2010 to 2015, found that the biggest ideological shifts came among women, young people, Latinos and well-educated voters, as well as people in the West and in cities.”
The Coming of the Islamic State was Foretold 10 Years Ago. And No One Listened. Amazing!! “I reproduce the seven phases of Al Qaeda’s master plan as presented in Musharbash’s 10-year-old article,. Phases four and five are of particular importance ..The First Phase. Known as “the awakening”.. was supposed to have lasted from the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 in New York to the fall of Baghdad in 2003. The attacks of 9/11 was to provoke the U.S. into declaring war on the Islamic world and thereby “awakening” Muslims… The Fourth Phase. Between 2010 and 2013, Hussein writes that Al Qaeda will aim to bring about the collapse of the hated Arabic governments. The estimate is that “the creeping loss of the regimes’ power will lead to a steady growth in strength within Al Qaeda.” At the same time attacks will be carried out against oil suppliers and the US economy will be targeted using cyber terrorism.”
House Tax-Cut Package Sails Through Good News! “The bill now offers a savings of $273.2 million for the fiscal year beginning July 1, increasing to $436 million the following year. Gaetz rattled off reductions. “The cell phone tax, the TV tax, the Internet tax, the digital cable tax, the farm tax, the back-to-school tax, the college textbook tax, the business rent tax, the tax on the Second Amendment, the tax on recycling, on soldiers who serve, on small businesses, school concessions, on community revitalization, the research and development tax, the tax on widows and the disabled, the aviation fuel tax …“This opportunity puts additional money in the pockets of hard-working families, but could mean the difference in job creation and business expansion. Our Florida economy is at its best when the Legislature returns taxpayer dollars to those who could use it the most.”
Florida Honors the 71st Anniversary of D-Day Time to Remember!! “In the latter half of 1943, the 4th Infantry Division took part in maneuvers at Camp Gordon Johnston in Carrabelle over in Franklin County, including amphibious landings at Carrabelle Beach and Dog Island. After the training operations, the division was sent to England. On D-Day, the 4th Infantry troops were the first American troops in the amphibious landing to reach French soil when they hit Utah Beach in Normandy. Decades later, the 4th Infantry’s time in Florida is still remembered. There’s a historical marker at Carrabelle Beach focused on the D-Day preparations. Back in 2000, the Camp Gordon Johnston Association collected soil from Carrabelle Beach to include in National 4th Infantry Division Associations monument in Arlington, Va. Visitors to Carrabelle can learn more at the Camp Gordon Johnston museum.”
NOAA Fiddles With Climate Data To Erase The 15-Year Global Warming ‘Hiatus’ More fraudulent data and lies from our gov. on global warming. How can anyone trust our gov’t anymore on anything? “But that’s not all NOAA did to increase the warming trend in recent decades. Climate expert Bob Tisdale and meteorologist Anthony Watts noted that to “manufacture warming during the hiatus, NOAA adjusted the pre-hiatus data downward. “If we subtract the [old] data from the [new] data… we can see that that is exactly what NOAA did,” Tisdale and Watts wrote on the science blog Watts Up With That. “It’s the same story all over again; the adjustments go towards cooling the past and thus increasing the slope of temperature rise… Their intent and methods are so obvious they’re laughable.” See also this link in which CATO scientists agree that NOAA is altering the data inappropriately.
EPA Buries Its Own Good News About Fracking “It only took four years and 1,000 pages, but the EPA finally confirmed what we already knew — hydraulic fracturing is safe, and states have been effectively regulating the process. “Americans love good news, but President Obama’s Environmental Protection Agency couldn’t treat it as such. The report’s “Major Findings” didn’t celebrate that your well water is safe. It instead leads with scaremongering about fracking’s “above- and below-ground mechanisms” and their “potential to impact drinking water resources,” including “spills of hydraulic fracturing fluids … and discharge of wastewater. “Only after this does the EPA admit: “We did not find evidence that these mechanisms have led to widespread, systemic impacts on drinking water resources in the United States.”
