Illegal immigrants kidnapping children to sneak into U.S. as ‘family units,’ feds say

Wow! ” Illegal immigrants are kidnapping children and bringing them across the border, hoping to appear to be families so they can take advantage of lax enforcement policies, the Obama admin told a fed appeals court..Fresco, a deputy assistant AG who handles immigration cases, made the stunning claim as he defended the administration’s policy of detaining illegal immigrant parents and children caught traveling together as they jump the border. After a federal judge last year ordered the families quickly released, Fresco said it’s served as an enticement for kidnapping.“When people now know that when I come as a family unit, I won’t be apprehended and detained — we now have people being abducted so that they can be deemed as family units, so that they can avoid detention,” Mr. Fresco told the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.”

Obama threatens veto of military funding bill over Guantanamo

He really wants to give Guantanamo back to Cuba free and clear!!”The White House threatened to veto a Defense funding bill in part because it included a provision designed to ensure the Obama administration cannot transfer prisoners from Guantanamo Bay to Fort Leavenworth in Kansas or elsewhere in the US. Ft. Leavenworth was surveyed by Dept of Defense officials as a possible site to house Guantanamo prisoners, although current federal law forbids the transfer of the detainees to U.S. facilities.Obama has threatened to veto legislation 3 times in 2015 and 2016 over Guantanamo provisions, yet he has signed them into law every time, said Sen. Roberts who added language about the prison to the funding bill as an amendment.“I’d hope he wouldn’t hold funding for our troops hostage over something that is already against the law,” the senator said.”

Why David Jolly may be poised to drop from U.S. Senate race

David Jolly. “a leading candidate in Fl’s crowded Republican Senate primary. So what’s he been up to lately?Refusing to follow the lead of most Republicans and endorse Trump.Denouncing the fundraising culture among the kind of party elites whose financial support he needs.Scolding fellow Republicans for ignoring scientists on global warming: “I’m sick and tired of going nowhere in addressing large problems, and I’d like to see our party accept the science and say we believe in conservative solutions.” Demanding the other leading Republican candidate, Beruff, apologize for calling Obama an “animal.”Announcing that he expects Rubio to run for a second term and that he will drop out to clear the path for Rubio.”

The Rise of the New Patriarchy and Title IX | The American Spectator

“Teen boy runs, and wins against teen girls in a high school level competition. The win is not surprising. Men have biological reasons for being physically superior to women. Testosterone increases their muscle mass, lung capacity, and upper body strength..Here is the practical effect of a boy participating in girls’ sports from the Alaska News:Wangyot posted the third-fastest time in the 200 preliminaries and the fifth-fastest time in the 100 preliminaries. Put this boy with other boys and he would lose.. He’s slow for a boy. He runs with unfair physiological advantages against girls. The playing field is grossly unequal.Seeing this phenomenon grow makes one wonder why have sex-specific sports designations. Title IX was created so that girls have an equal access to sports. That meant that funding opened up for women.”

Secret Service agent’s book claims Clinton has ‘volcanic’ leadership style | Fox News

An ex-Secret Service officer’s forthcoming book on Hillary reportedly claims she has a “volcanic” leadership style and lacks the “temperament” to hold office — the same charge the candidate leveled last week at Trump. The book, “Crisis of Character,” is due to be released June 28 .. Written by ex-Secret Service Officer Byrne, who was “posted directly outside Clinton’s Oval Office,” the book paints Clinton as disdainful of rules and erratic in her personality. Byrne describes Hillary as switching quickly from friendly to angry in a moment, and repeatedly screaming obscenities at her husband, the Secret Service and White House staffers. Secret Service agents even had to consider what to do in case the first lady attacked the president physically.“Hillary..simply lacks the integrity and temperament to serve in the office,” Byrne wrote.

Report: Fewer school suspensions, lots of absences

When is the parent going to take responsibility for their child?”New government numbers offer a mixed snapshot of progress for the nation’s schoolchildren — with worrisome figures on how many students miss school, stubborn disparities on discipline, but encouraging strides in cutting the overall number of suspensions. The Education Dept report found 6.5 million students nationwide were chronically absent in the 2013-14 school year. That’s more than one out of every 10 students missing at least three full weeks of school…the survey found a significant drop in school suspensions for K-12 students, down nearly 20% from the previous period. But, the report also suggests sharp disparities between how black and white students are disciplined in school as well as the types of advanced coursework offered in high school to black and Latino children.”

Editorial: Time to stop Go Hillsborough

“Hillsborough will take its third stab this week at putting a transportation package on the Nov ballot. The options have gone from bad to worse, and with the clock running to get a referendum question before the voters, the County Commission may feel pressure to support just about anything. That’s not a smart way to persuade voters to raise taxes and assure them the money will be well spent. Commissioners should end this debate, learn from the mistakes and start fresh on crafting a more robust plan with the money and vision needed to address long-term transportation needs. In April, commissioners correctly voted 4-3 against putting a half-cent, 30-year sales tax on the ballot. After three years of discussion between the county and Hillsborough’s three cities, that plan remained flawed with too little emphasis on transit and too much on roads.”

Gov. Rick Scott signs bill that scales back testing

“Responding to a parent-driven charge to scale back testing in public schools, Gov. Scott signed legislation to eliminate at least one exam and delay the release of school grades until the other exams are deemed valid. But some parent and teacher groups say the governor should do more to ease the burden on schoolchildren. The statewide teachers union called on Scott to work with state education officials to ensure that most of the school year is devoted to instruction and to ensure that no students or teachers are penalized due to failures in the school accountability system. The grass roots group, Parents Across America, is hoping Scott will go even further.”We plan to coordinate with other Fl parent groups to request Gov. Scott consider an executive order to hold students harmless during this unpiloted transitional period as other GOP governors have,” founder Solnet said.”

Workers at 2 Minnesota Hospitals Diagnosed with Active TB

America should be alert to the rise of TB infections. Immigrants coming across our borders are certainly not being screened for communicable diseases or terrorism for that matter. -If they are please prove it. “The MI Dept of Health reported that in 2014, 73% of the 147 active cases of TB in MI were foreign born.Half of the foreign-born TB cases reported in MI from 2010 through 2014 initially arrived in the U.S. as refugees, and another 27% arrived as immigrants,” the report adds…As Breitbart News reported previously, 22% of all refugees arriving in Minnesota in 2014 tested positive for latent TB. This compares to a 4% positive latent TB rate among the general population.”

Macra: The Quiet Health-Care Takeover

Another healthcare disaster! “Macra, was enacted to replace the dysfunctional system for paying doctors under Medicare. The old system, based on the despised sustainable-growth rate formula, perennially threatened to impose unsustainable cuts in physicians’ fees. Macra passed Congress with bipartisan support and Obama quickly signed it. Unfortunately, the law empowers the federal bureaucracy at the expense of the doctor-patient relationship, putting the quality of health care at risk.In an effort to secure broad support, Congress wrote into the law general guidance but left important details of implementation to the executive branch. What happened was predictable: In April the administration presented a 962-page regulatory behemoth. This new set of rules uses the power of Medicare to put the federal government in charge of almost every aspect of physician care”  See also What is MACRA? Terry McAuliffe’s latest scandal just the tip of the iceberg

“Gov. McAuliffe is under investigation yet again. This time, it involves $120,000 given to McAuliffe’s campaign by a billionaire who served in China’s communist legislature. McAuliffe’s business and political dealings have raised questions repeatedly…in the 1990s, as McAuliffe set records raising money for the Clintons, congressional investigations uncovered a Chinese government scheme to funnel money to the Clinton operatives through a number of business people, including “Charlie” Trie. 94 people either refused questioning, pled the 5th or left the country. During that period, McAuliffe helped a company named Loral Space get on trade missions, and, with McAuliffe’s intervention, the Clinton administration overruled national security officials to approve a Loral deal that gave China critical missile technology. Loral’s CEO became the largest donor to the DNC, where McAuliffe was chairman.”

Why aren’t we using DDT to combat Zika-bearing mosquitoes? – NetRight Daily

“Currently, Congress is contemplating certain actions being taken, but new research and development is not needed because the answer has been around since the 1950s.. It is DDT….In 1972, Congress enacted the Fed Environmental Pesticide Control Act, a far-reaching amendment that gave the EPA vast discretion to ban certain pesticides. The executive ban by the EPA on DDT from use completely was instituted that very year because the gas, primarily sprayed over livestock as a pesticide, was found to cause defects in the developments of animals exposed to the spray. However, today DDT could be used differently in order to stop the spread of this deadly disease, if the EPA was only willingly to prioritize human life.”

Kindergartners Taught Gender Expression In Washington Public Schools By 2017

Outrageous!! “By 2017 Washinton state public schools will begin teaching gender expression to kindergartners under newly-approved health education standards that designate sexual health a “core idea” of K-12 education. While some aspects of sexual health aren’t taught K-12 (HIV prevention begins in 4th grade), one component of sexual health titled “Self-Identity” begins in kindergarten, where students will be expected to “Understand there are many ways to express gender…In response to a question about whether a student who rejects the idea that “gender identity” is distinct from “biological sex” could end up failing a course on account of their beliefs, Olson.. admitted that “we don’t exactly know what a school would do if a student failed to complete an assignment because he/she opposed the materials being taught.”

Best-Run States Are Heavily Republican, Study Finds

No surprise here! “The ten most financially sound states in the country are all heavily Republican, while all but one of the ten worst states are heavily Democratic. That’s according to a ranking of states in a new report from the Mercatus Center at George Mason U.The report — “Ranking the States by Fiscal Condition” — used official government data to measure the states’ ability to pay short-term bills and meet longer-term obligations, such as public pensions or health care costs, using five separate measures..The report also provides an overall ranking of the states… every state in the top 10 except for Florida is solidly red, meaning those states voted for the Republican in each of the past 4 presidential elections. And Florida has had a Republican gov since 1999, and the state House and Senate are both controlled by Republicans.”

Scott Demands Zika Virus Preparedness Items from Obama Administration

Good for Scott!! Why has Obama and Congress been dragging their feet on this issue?”Gov. Scott wants immediate action to prepare for the Zika virus and is calling on Obama to prioritize items and funding to protect Floridians from Zika virus in time for Hurricane Season. On Wednesday, Scott sent a letter to the president, calling on his administration to immediately provide items to prepare for the possible spread of the Zika virus, a mosquito-borne illness which can cause birth defects if pregnant women become infected. In the letter, Scott slams Obama and Congress for not taking immediate action to inhibit the spread of the virus. While not incredibly widespread, the Zika virus has taken its toll in places like Florida, where humidity, rain and hot weather all contribute to a growing mosquito population.”
