This new song is definitely a hit – in honor of snowflakes everywhere!! Enjoy!
Interesting poll! “St. Leo Univ released a poll Tues showing both Republicans and Democrats are not sure on who they want to be their gubernatorial candidates come 2018. A third of FL Republicans–are undecided on who they want to replace Scott while 30% are for Huckabee who moved to the Panhandle following his 2008 presidential bid. ..Adam Putnam gets 13% of Fl Republicans while 6% goes to Rick Baker. Corcoran pulls 5% followed by Jack Latvala with 3%. 40% of Fl Democrats are unsure while 20% back Patrick Murphy. Atty John Morgan takes 9% followed by Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer with 6%. Kathy Castor and Miami Beach Mayor Phil Levine takes 5% apiece.”
How corrupt!! “Rep. Gohmert is calling for a congressional investigation of Podesta’s role with Rusnano, a state-run comp founded by Putin. Podesta first made contact with the Russian firm in 2011, when he joined the boards and executive committees of three related entities: Boston-based Joule Unlimited ; Joule Global; Joule Global Stichting. All are high-tech renewable energy enterprises. 3 months after Podesta’s arrival, Joule Unlimited accepted a 1 billion ruble investment from Rusnano.. The firm also awarded a Joule board seat in 2012 to Rusnano’s CEO, depicted as a corrupt figure. Podesta has attempted to downplay his relation with Joule and Rusnano..One legal problem for him relates to the time he joined Obama’s staff in 2014 and failed to reveal his 2011 Joule stock vesting agreement in his government financial disclosure form.”
“Comey told Congress that his agency is investigating Trump’s campaign for evidence it colluded with Russia to influence Nov’s election. The only problem is he has no evidence at all that it has taken place. In his testimony Comey said that the FBI was investigating the Trump campaign’s possible coordination with Russia’s government as part of a “counterintelligence probe that could reach all the way to the White House and last for months.” But both Comey and NSA Dir Rogers agreed that there is no evidence of any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.Nor was there any evidence that Russia’s amateurish meddling in the campaign had any influence on voters. If this holds up, it’s a devastating blow to the Democrats, who were hoping to use what appears to be an entirely bogus scandal to gin up public opposition to Trump…”
Must Read!! “In 1934, Mustafa Kemal became known as “Ataturk,” father of Turks. He remade the Islam Ottoman state into a secular nation aimed at joining the Western world. 83 years later, Turkey is led by a man whose goal is the re-creation of the Islamic state. Erdogan is not a dictator imposed by a military coup. He is highly popular, despite his many despotic actions.. Erdogan repeatedly has made clear his allegiance to radical Islam throughout his presidency. His presidency, which began in 2014, is about to be converted into a pseudo-caliphate by a constitutional referendum that will be voted on next month.Since Ataturk, the Turkish army has had the duty of maintaining the secularism of the Turkish state. It has had its successes and failures, but as Ataturk recognized, Turkey cannot be an Islamic state and a Western ally.”
Must Read! “The biggest gamble in the health-care bill is whether it includes enough reform to arrest the current death spiral in the individual insurance market. No one knows for sure, but critics are overlooking important provisions that will help people who are now exposed to ObamaCare’s rapidly rising premiums. Notably, the bill includes a 10-year $100 billion “stability fund” that allows states to start to repair their individual insurance markets. Before ObamaCare, it wasn’t inevitable that costs would increase by 25% on average this year, or that nearly 1/3 of counties would become single-insurer monopolies. With better policy choices, states can make coverage cheaper and more attractive for consumers and coax insurers back into the market, and the stability fund is a powerful tool. Governors could draw on the stability fund to reestablish the high-risk pools that prevailed in 35 states before ObamaCare. The Affordable Care Act uses regulatory mispricing to force the young to make a transfer to the old, and the healthy to the sick. The result has been insurance that the young and healthy don’t want to buy or can’t afford.”
Good Read!”The big losers of the Russian hacking scandal may be those who invested their capital in a script that turned out to based on a fairy tale. Comey did confirm that his FBI has found nothing to support Trump’s tweet that Obama ordered him wiretapped…undeniably an embarrassment for the tweeter-in-chief.Yet longer-term damage may have been done to the left. After 8 months investigating the hacking and leaking of the emails of Podesta and the DNC, there is apparently no evidence yet of Trump collusion with Russia. Clapper has said that, as of Jan. 20, he had seen no evidence of a Russia-Trump collusion…But while the FBI is still searching for a Trump connection, real crimes have been unearthed – committed by anti-Trump bureaucrats colluding with mainstream media – to damage Trump’s presidency.”
WOW “Rep Stefanik .. single-handily pulled the mask from Comey.. Stefanik begins by asking Comey what are the protocols, standards and procedures for notifying the Dir of Nat’l Intelligence (DNI), the White House and congress when the FBI has opened a counter-intelligence investigation. With the statement that such counter-intelligence notifications happen “generally quarterly”, and against the backdrop that Comey stated in July of 2016 a counter-intelligence investigation began, Stefanik asks:”when did you notify the White House, the DNI and congressional leadership”?BOOM! Watch an uncomfortable Comey outright LIE…by claiming there was no active DNI -which is entirely false- Clapper was Obama’s DNI..The counter-intelligence investigation, by his own admission, began in July 2016. Congress was not notified until March 2017. That’s an 8 month period – Obviously obfuscating the quarterly claim moments earlier.”
More Proof!! “The debate over noncitizens voting was a hot topic a few years ago in Frederick Co, MD .. Conservative activists went to court to show that noncitizens were registering to vote. A court employee met their request by turning over pages of residents’ names disqualified from jury duty because of alien status. When those lists were compared with voting records for just 3 years – 2007, 2008 and 2011- nearly 180 noncitizens were found to have registered to vote. Of those, 63 had voted, some in multiple elections. The 180 registered votes came from 1,400 disqualified noncitizens in those 3 years, a rate of 12.8%….A nat’l poll of Hispanic residents in 2013 found that 13% of noncitizens said they were registered to vote. Compared to the U.S. census for that year, it could be mean that 800,000 to 2.2 million were registered voters.”
Outrageous! 77 billion tax dollars spent on climate change programs purposefully hidden!”Trump will find the job of reining in spending on climate initiatives made harder by an Obama-era policy of dispersing billions of dollars in programs across dozens of agencies — in part so they couldn’t easily be cut. There is no single list of those programs or their cost, because Obama sought to integrate climate programs into everything the federal government did. The goal was to get all agencies to take climate into account, and also make those programs hard to disentangle.. In some cases, the idea was to make climate programs hard for Republicans in Congress to even find.”Much of the effort in the Obama admin was to mainstream climate change,” said Keenan He said all federal agencies were required to incorporate climate-change plans into their operations.”
Outrageous! “Approx 30 countries are refusing to accept the deportations of illegal immigrants who have committed serious crimes in the US, according to TX Rep. Cuellar. While these countries are refusing to accept the deportations of these criminals, the US gov is still issuing visas to citizens of those countries. There is already a law on the books which allows the US to hold visas from a country that is not taking back its criminals, but according to Cuellar, the US is not enforcing it. So now my intent is to go back to our committee on appropriations and affect their funding until they do that,” Cuellar, a Democrat member of the House Committee on Appropriations that the Supreme Court has ruled that illegal immigrants arrested for criminal activity can only be held for a certain period of time before they must be released.”
Excellent article on our options in dealing with N. Korea. “Constantly threatening neighbors with nukes has been the Kim family method of being a big man on the block for decades. For a dynasty living in a shack palace in a rich neighborhood, N Korea’s Jong Un has done OK, receiving aid from those he’s menaced and Kim feared (he would say “respected”) even by those with no conceivable reason for fearing him. Economic giants like China, Japan and S Korea hang on his every word.Yet without the ability to twirl a nuclear gun around his finger Kim would be a punk nobody. The constant problem for Kim is how to keep skirting the edge without falling off it. Now he may have slipped up. Tillerson has announced that since “diplomatic and other efforts” had proved useless it was time for a “new approach”.
Hidden time bomb!”Along with the student loan debt bubble and other major financial factors, the looming pensions crisis is bound to be the death of us all. Because it’s based on a future promise to pay, it has long been a benefit dangled to solve strikes and union disputes – because, in the end, it is just more debt, whether private or public. With tens of trillions in unfunded liabilities, the weight of an avalanche remains dangling over our heads. An aging population is cashing in on needed retirement benefits while the younger generations must support multiples that are unsustainable financially. Somewhere between the retiree that needs clothing, food and lodging, and the bankruptcy of cities and state governments is the makings of the next economic crisis.”
Unsustainable! “On average, more than 3,000 borrowers default on their federal student loans every day.The number of people who have defaulted on their federal student loans increased 17% from 2015 to 2016..”Despite a booming stock market and unemployment falling, student loan borrowers are struggling,” said Chopra, a senior fellow at the Consumer Federation of America..Last year, 42.4 million owed $1.3 trillion in federal student loans. More than 4.2 million borrowers were in default as of the end of 2016, up from 3.6 million in 2015. In all, 1.1 million more borrowers went into or re-entered default last year. People who have defaulted on their student loans “are going to have a tougher time passing an employment verification check, saving for retirement or ever buying a home..”
Good For Scott! “Gov.Scott has removed Aramis Ayala, the newly elected prosecutor in Orlando, from the high-profile prosecution of accused cop killer after she announced she would not seek the death penalty in this or any first-degree murder case during her four-year term.Scott assigned the case to Brad King, state attorney for Citrus, Hernando, Lake, Marion and Sumter counties.”(Ayala) has made it clear that she will not fight for justice and that is why I am using my executive authority to immediately reassign the case to State Attorney King,” Scott said in a Thurs. “These families deserve a state attorney who will aggressively prosecute Markeith Loyd to the fullest extent of the law and justice must be served.”Scott had earlier called Ayala to recuse herself.”
Must Read! Outstanding bills!!”I spoke with Flaugh of Fl Citizens Alliance who is supporting HB 989 and its companion SB 1210 now working their way through the legislative process.. Flaugh said his group is very concerned about school materials that indoctrinate students against American principals and support leftist thought. These bills support local control of curriculum materials and include a detailed report of objectionable materials…When passed into law, these Instructional Materials companion bills will restore local control of curriculum to each school district, give a meaningful voice to parents and the local community in the selection process for instructional materials, and require instructional materials used in the classroom meet the following criteria: -” Read article to see what criteria is!!
